Q: What happens if I miss a session?
A: By signing up for this career enrichment program you are agreeing to attend all sessions. Showing up live to engage in group discussions and hands-on learning is an integral part of the program. If you are unable to make a session please notify Chantelle.Soares@wcm.ca. You may be able to join the second offering of the workshop.
Q: Will the sessions be recorded?
A: While we believe that the benefit of these programs is showing up live and engaging in breakout rooms and open discussions, we also understand life happens. Some sessions will be recorded and will be available on our course platform 3 days post-session.
Q: What is the course platform?
A: We will be using a password-protected platform to store sessions. You will receive an email with further details once the course starts.
Q: Which platforms will you be using for the sessions?
A: The sessions will take place on Zoom. We ask that you make arrangements to join from a device that can access Zoom, such as a personal computer or cell phone.
Q: Which materials do I need to participate in this program?
A: Ideally, a reliable internet connection, a quiet space, and a webcam.
Q: Do I get a certificate at the end of the program?
A: A badge of completion will be issued upon completion that can be placed on your LinkedIn. You must attend 3/5 sessions live to receive the badge.
Q: Will there be any networking opportunities?
A: Between sessions we are introducing peer-to-peer learning. This will be a time to gather informally with your cohort to discuss what was learned in the previous session & how it is being implemented in your life.
